Intelligence Minister:
Along with the Prime Minister, the intelligence minister is the only member of the British government who is made aware of the existence of CHERUB.
International Operations:
When operating in on British soil, CHERUB has the authority to overrule police and other authorities. When working internationally things become more complicated and CHERUB has to take care that it’s agents do not end up serving time in a foreign prison for breaking local laws.
In some friendly countries, such as the United States and Australia, intelligence agencies have informal agreements that enable agents to work undercover, providing the local agency knows what is going on.
